Important Update

Spotify is shutting down the API access we previously used for the widget on March 8, 2026. Because of this, we've built a new lightweight browser extension that replaces the old method entirely.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. This change was out of our control, but we've worked hard to make the transition as smooth as possible.

How It Works

The Music Widget browser extension reads your currently playing song directly from the Spotify Web Player and sends it to your stream overlay — no Spotify API login needed.

Is It Safe?

The extension is developed and maintained by us at Great Art Studio. It is completely safe to use.

  • Does not collect or store any personal data
  • Does not access your Spotify account or credentials
  • Does not track your browsing activity
  • Only reads the song info visible on the Spotify Web Player page
  • Open source — you can inspect every line of code
